Our project this day was to make a trail through the woods. Brady worked hard.

Kanga and Brady first had to cut the brush out of the way.

Brady is running down the trail.

After the trail was finished, Brady went back and made sure that there wasn't any stray branches that would hit someone in the face. One of the things that he was amazed seeing was the deer droppings in the woods. This is an ongoing project.

We have always loved racing cars in the den. On this day, Brady did his best to convince us that his "special" car had won. So we had to have a discussion about this. Now, who do you think was right?

Eventhough this is not the "good" dog, these two seem to get along pretty good.

Everytime Brady would turn his head, Gracie would get on the bed and bark until Brady would turn around and play with her.

Geo Tracks is top on the list of things to do. Above, two boys are tired from building and racing. Below, with Gracie's help, they were
able to make the biggest track ever. It went around the living room and into the dining room
and circled back two or three times. They also used alot of the bridges etc. Geo Tracks was
the best purchases we ever made. When Brady got his first set, he was two. He couldn't put the set together, but he sure loved running it. Now, he designs a different track every time. We have even had them upstairs in the balcony and it would extend into Gray's old room, through the bathroom and back to the balcony. We would recommend Geo Tracks for every boy or girl.

GOOD JOB BOYS!!
Izzy is getting so big. She's coming into her own personality. We area waiting for the day when she let's her big sister know that she can't push Izzy around anymore. Of course, Kendal only does things in love. (like hitting Izzy in the head with a flashlight)

She is strutting her stuff.

Hey everybody!!

Brady is registering Roo's Webkinz on the computer. It was amazing to watch him show me how to do this. Thanks Brady.
Does everyone remember Smokey? Yes, he's approximately 15 years old now. Pool cat, he's been shot, has a "human" ear inside and now has decided to live in our bathroom sink. He's the "old man" of our animals and rules the roost. He also likes to get in the shower when one of us is taking a shower. And no, he does not like Gracie even a little bit.

Brady and Kanga had a project - an inside doghouse for Gracie, our princess. They both designed it, cut the wood and nailed it together. But it was Brady's job to decorate it. You will notice that Boo also decided to put carpet inside to make it more comfortable for the princess.

Here Brady and his helper are working on the outside of the house. Below, he wanted to put Gracie's name on the front so she would be able to identify her house. Check out the rainbow colors in the name.

YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT THEIR NEXT PROJECT IS. I CAN'T TELL, BECAUSE KANGA HAS TO RUN IT BY BOO FIRST.

Brady's First Grade Play

Mimi was kind enough to take our picture. There was a slight problem.
Mr. Brady decided he wanted to look goofy. So here we are.
But in the next one, he decided to be my Boo.

Before the program, the kids were in their rooms getting ready.
Brady proceeded to write his part on his Mom's board. Look
closely, you'll be impressed.

He had to go to his room to finish getting ready. He and a few of his
friends played on the computer to occupy time until the program.
The pictures I took of his actual play were not the best as there was
a rather large man sitting in front of me.

Kanga had to go to school the night of the play, but I was lucky enough to be able to go. Needless to say, Brady did a great job. Brady acted very tired that night and the next day we learned that he had to go the doctor. He was a sick puppy. But he's doing great now.

What can we do next? (We had just finished playing hide & go seek in the hotel.)

Just one more game of Spin Uno Kanga.

When does the party start. Notice the frog? That's Spotted Froggy 2. Brady told Roo to buy this for Kanga and give it to him as soon as he got out of surgery.

This is Brady disguised as Kendal. (at Izzy's birthday party)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IZZY!! It was her party, but she didn't get to go outside and play with the other kids on the trampolene and do the egg relay. But she didn't seem to mind.

Brady had something to show Kanga.

Brady and Roo always tried to find time to swing.

Brady says that this is the "best" dog. But he does know that Sasha will always love and protect him. One time someone walked up to the car with Brady in it and Sasha would not allow that person within reaching distance of the car. Sasha loves his Brady.

THE THREE MUSKETEERS!!

Hopefully, we will get better at this at time goes on and we can include others.

Brady loved swinging in the homemade tree swing. Of course, driving his car was a highlight. But he and Kanga also had to have some "boy" time.

Well, we are trying again. We know that we put some pictures on the blog, but don't know which ones. So, you may get duplicate. These pictures were taken when Brady came to visit last summer/fall. He said he would help this young photographer learn how to take pictures. He was very helpful. She took 250 pictures. No, we are not going to put them all on here. Scared you, didn't we? We thought it would be easier to put ones that we already had on the computer. We'll see.

OUR FIRST ATTEMPT

What tale is this?
